The surplice bodice has raglan sleeves that taper into magenta paisley cuffs. It probably had shoulder pads at one time, but these are not present now. Inside the top is a black nylon under pinning, like the top of a slip. The full skirt originates at an elastic waist and comprises a variety of colorful silk fabrics in several different lengths.
