It is a reproduction of the 9th Century brooch found in grave Bj 539 in Birka, Sweden. The back has a needle with a lock mechanism and the side has a hole from where it is possible to hang something. The brooch was found in a female grave and has happy animal faces on it (possibly cats). Grimfrost reconstructed this brooch for the Birka Museum's 2020 Exhibition where a number
