The blade is made of differentially hardened 1095 high carbon steel with a beautiful choji hamon. The fittings set are made of specially painted brass with a snake theme. The tsuka is made of hardwood with white, genuine rayskin panels and wrapped with black leather ito. The saya is partially wrapped with white rayskin near the koiguchi kurikata area and has a glossy black paint finish.
