Gunderloch, Riesling GG Hipping, 2024 4JULY25SALE Pian dell’Orino’s 2021 Rosso diHipping is Gunderloch's smallest grand cru, carved from an extremely steep parcel of the Roter Hang, the five kilometer stretch of blood red, iron rich slate that rises above the Rhine between Nackenheim and Nierstein. This is the floral one of the trio. The signature Roter Hang character is all here herbal, stony, savory, sun soaked but Hipping adds an exotic lift of lilac and jasmine over the top. In the mouth it's firm and straight, locked in place
