South Australian Infantry and designated the 74th (Boothby Bn.) and most likely saw service in WW1 under the number 74. In 1921 the 2 74th was amalgamated with the 5 27th (ex 75th Bn. from WW1) to form the 27th Bn. (South Australian Infantry). The Regiment became Scottish in 1938.
